Once again they prove their worth!

Magwayen Creative Scholars' Guild, the sole university-wide theatre organization of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila recently launched their third live act --"Isko,Sinong Idol Mo?" (ISIM) which was held in the Forum Hall in the PLM MEDICINE BLDG. The small narrow venue was bursting with laughter and giggles from the clever antics of the ensemble cast.

The play begins with a dance number of notable TV characters who are vying for the title of "ISKO IDOL" whom each represents different departments.Barbie (with a grouchy and scratchy voice representing College of Hotel and Room Management);Zorro for College of Physical theraphy,Alwina representing the College of Physical Education and Recreation,Sabina of Majica representing the College of Nursing;even Spongebob who represents a very unusual college...College of Honorable Dismissal (CHD).

The skid mainly focuses on the daily struggles of students inside the school/Pamantansan such as the first day dilemmas,voting for class officers,meeting weird professors and teachers,students who go on rallies vs students who are just like to observe things and think its worth fighting for; and also the never ending saga of students fighting for their grades.

Imagine this:getting yourself in a DEAL OR NO DEAL game for you to recieve a flat 1.00 on your class card.how tough is that?

Again the ISIM is definitely a smash hit for the students!No dull moments for the audience specially when the actors try to interact with their viewers.After all this show is for them.Staging it for 5 times in just one day, thats no laughing matter.The gruesome hours of rehearsals,painstaking dance numbers and the enhancing the delivery of punchlines has finally paid off!

Now in its 8th year, Magwayen Creative Scholars' Guild continues push hard to excel their craft paving the way for fresh innovations,through theatrical expertise.
